personal data purpose

If you, the customer and Akelius already have a contractual relationship, we use your data to fulfill the rights and obligations to you as a customer or tenant. This extends to the service offered in the My day application. We also use your data to evaluate the effectiveness of the services.

The purpose of My day to collect personal data is to provide the service to you, the customer. We need the data to be able to have Akelius staff, or third-party contractor, get to the right location and know whom to speak with regarding the requested activity.

type of data we collect

Akelius My day application collects name, address, type of requested activity and if there are any special circumstances. These could be the particular time, what exactly the activity is about and if there is any additional information related to the activity.  

Akelius also collects usage data. Usage data may include information such as your device's internet protocol address, for example IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. When you access services by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our services or when you access services by or through a mobile device.

Our My day application runs on machines under Akelius control, they are however placed outside of our organization. We use machines and services from different vendors such as but not limited to Azure, AWS and MongoDB to name some.  

We will transfer your data as the application is processed in services as mentioned above. In such cases Akelius have ensured there are legal mechanism for such transfer in accordance with chapter V of the GDPR, such as entering into standard contractual clauses adopted by the EU Commission from time to time.  

Akelius has safeguards with our vendors to keep the data as safe as reasonably possible and the ability to restore the data if needed as in a fault in the software or other non-invasive actions.  

retention of data

Akelius will not keep your data any longer than needed for the particular processing or required by local or pan-European law.  

tracking

My day application has no user activity tracking other than the information entered by you, the user, such as, time when logging a ticket to when it was resolved or responded to.

children's privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of thirteen. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under the age of thirteen without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers. If we need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your information and your country requires consent from a parent, we may require your parent's consent before we collect and use that information.

You, the customer has the right, in regard to your data, to request your data be deleted at any time. Below are the rights you have.

  • Notification of data breaches 
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority 

Some of these rights can be opposed if we have a contractual obligation or legal obligation to perform services to you as the customer. Akelius could be forced to keep some information if we have a tenant/landlord relationship or other where we are required to log and keep information.
